Course Description:
SHRM's Essentials of HR Management program is the perfect program for entry-level HR professionals, line managers and supervisors with responsibilities related to the employment process, small business owners, or those seeking to increase general knowledge of the HR profession and legal issues related to the employment process. This 2-day interactive program engages participants in a variety of learning activities and group discussions.

- HR legislation
- Workforce planning and employment (interviewing, performance, evaluations, terminations)
- Training and development
- Overview of employee reward systems and benefits
- Employee and labor relations
- Risk management
HR Certification Institute Continuing Education Credit
This program is pre-approved for award of 15 hours of HRCI general credit for PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification.
Fees/Materials: Fees are inclusive of the Essentials of HR Management course materials, food and beverage service. Course materials will be distributed day of event.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests received on/before March 11, 2010 - 50% refund. After March 11, 2010 - No Refund. Substitution of alternate participants is permitted with notification.
